By Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, Mount Tomah
Join Blue Mountains artist James Blackwell at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden, Mount Tomah, as he re-establishes a connect with nature as an antidote to the barrage of stimulation taken host in our ever-evolving technological world.
Using the Blue Mountains as his anchor, Blackwell embodies the repetition and symmetry of the landscape using the backdrop of the reliability and inevitability of the seasons as his inspiration for his Biophilia exhibition.
James Blackwell is represented by Lost Bear Gallery in Katoomba.
Biophilia can be viewed at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden visitor centre, Bells Line of Rd, Mount Tomah, from 9.30am to 5pm daily until February 1. Cost: free. Refreshments available at Tomah Garden Restaurant every day (Bookings recommended: 0421 552 746).
