The garden will be transformed as lovers of local food, wine and crafts enjoy regional produce, spectacular views and vivid autumn colours at TomahROMA autumn food and wine fair.
This year’s fair will also stage the International Back To Back Wool Challenge and the Apple Pie Bake-Off. Watch the team shear a sheep, spin the wool and knit a jumper in less than eight hours while enjoying an incredible selection of locally made apple pies entered into the hotly contested bake-off. This year the garden will host producers from the Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury regions focusing on sustainable living and locally grown produce. Fresh juice and cider, wine, crafts, cakes, clothes, coffee and botanic garden plant sales will provide a small taste of the variety of lovingly made regional produce available for visitors to sample and buy.
Discover the many horticultural delights within the 252ha grounds on a free guided tour departing regularly from the Visitor Centre. Run by volunteer guides, tours will focus on the seasonal autumn highlights of the garden.
The 12th annual fair will be set against the bright autumnal colours of the turning garden, which in itself attracts thousands of visitors throughout autumn. This is the best time to see the garden in its annual blaze of colour, a sight not to be missed.
